Vladislav Misic (b. 1965)

Attended Belgrade and Nis art schools from 1985 until 1992, when he started working as a professional artist. Member of ULUS (Serbian Association of Arts) since 1995.
Exhibitions:

  • ULUS new members' exhibition, 1995.;
  • "Contemporary Serbian Orthodox Art", Museum of Applied Arts, Belgrade, 1995.;

    "...The Chance is the helper this author calls upon. Since his ambition is for his paintings to be a fruit of Providence, he is trying to connect with the flow and seize the painting with prayer. He wishes his paintings to be communicative, which is clear from his most recent works, so far his best.

    I believe that the artists is trying to find the path to the primordial substance which flows inside the circle whose lines are burning with total movement, and we call it the Time. In his endeavors he is sincere, and the work is 'on its way'..."
